Welcome to the Shock Society Foundation

Advancing the Future of Trauma, Shock, and Sepsis

The Shock Society Foundation is dedicated in supporting innovative research, fostering the next generation of scientists, and improving outcomes for patients suffering from trauma, shock, and sepsis. Through education, grants, and collaborative partnerships, we empower investigators to push the boundaries of discovery and translate science into life-saving care.

Dear Esteemed Colleagues of the Shock Society,

As we approach the 50th Annual Meeting of the Shock Society in 2027, it is with deep appreciation that we recognize the extraordinary leadership and dedication each of you has contributed over the past five decades. This milestone is not only a celebration of scientific advancement and collaboration—it is also a testament to the enduring vision and passion of those who have guided our Society from its inception to the present day.

In that spirit of looking ahead, we are also excited to announce the establishment of the Shock Foundation. This new initiative is designed to support the long-term growth and sustainability of our Society’s mission—advancing the science of shock, trauma, and inflammation through research, education, and mentorship. The Foundation will play a key role in supporting early-career investigators, fostering innovation, and preserving the strength of our scientific community.

As past leaders and stewards of the Shock Society, we kindly invite you to consider making a contribution to the Shock Foundation. Whether through a one-time gift, a recurring donation, or including the Foundation in your legacy planning, your support will ensure that future generations of scientists benefit from the same strength and inspiration that you helped build.

With deepest respect and gratitude,
